SD I've been looking at selecting up a Weatherby for a while now and just needed some input around the difference between the Mark V along with the Vanguards, as I haven't got any individual working experience with either.
I make use of a tripod & Y yoke at times and never experienced an issue with it. I'm able to just lean it on a tree department also. Weather conditions won't phase it.

They arent the exact same rifles by a long shot in value or development. In spite of possessing two Mark v I doubt I'd personally purchase A different. For my use and flavor They may be two large and I dont care to get a 26 inch barrel. Its just a make a difference of what you need to pay for. You likely wont see $1500 variation in performance in the identical caliber. Just my belief.
